US Senate Banking Committee To Hold TRIREA and Flood Bill Mark-Up Session

On Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 10 a.m., the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs will hold an executive session and mark-up that includes pending insurance-related legislation.

• An original bill entitled “Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2007”; and

Senate Panel Set For Flood Bill Vote

WASHINGTON —The Senate Banking Committee is due to vote tomorrow on its version of legislation to reform the National Flood Insurance Program, in a format that will be largely the same as a bill approved by the committee last year.
