UPDATE: Louisiana Department of Insurance Legislative Package

The Louisiana Department of Insurance 2008 Legislative Package has been updated with the additions of Senate Bill 670 and House Bill 1113.

SB 670 by Senator Eric LaFleur provides for licensing and continuing education requirements for insurance producers.

HB 1113 by Representative Nickie Monica relates to the statutory deposit requirements of insurers.

A copy of the updated package is attached for your review.
