UPDATE: The Florida Supreme Court decision in Warfel v. Universal Ins. Co. of North America, in which the Court held that the presumption of correctness of the insurer’s expert report in a sinkhole claim is not an evidentiary presumption, will be discussed during today’s meeting. If possible, please ask your claims personnel to participate in the 2:00 p.m. call.

In addition, a draft of the letter to DFS regarding its letter to neutral evaluators is attached for Member review and comment. The letter will be discussed on the call tomorrow and a vote on whether to send the letter will be taken on Friday, February 3, 2012.
