The Senate Select Committee on Property Insurance Accountability (“Committeeâ€) has released its agenda for the Monday, February 4 and Tuesday, February 5 meetings. Below are the agendas for each meeting day.

- Committee questions to Kevin McCarty, Florida Insurance Commissioner
- Presentation on reinsurance
- Sworn testimony and response to Committee questions from property insurance executives and representatives of the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (“OIRâ€) and the Florida Department of Financial Services (“DFSâ€)
- Tuesday, February 5,
- Sworn testimony and response to Committee questions from property insurance executives, representatives of the OIR and DFS

The Senate Banking and Insurance Committee (“Committee”) has released its agenda for the Wednesday, February 6, 2008 meeting. Below is the agenda.
Staff presentations will be given and public testimony will be taken on the following interim projects:
- Regulation of Money Services Transmitters (Interim Project 2008-101)
- The Effect of Mandating Coverage for Mental and Nervous Disorders (Interim Project 2008-103)
- Interim Project 2008-204 — Open Government Sunset Review of section 626.97411, F.S., Credit Scoring Methodologies
The Committee will also discuss Proposed Committee Bill (“PCB”) 7042:Open Government Sunset Review/Reports by Insurers. This Proposed Bill reenacts a specified provision relating to reports by insurers to the OIR which contain credit scoring methodologies and related data that are trade secrets.

The House Insurance Committee will hold a meeting on Friday, February 8, 2008. No agenda has been released at this time.
The House Jobs and Entrepreneurship Committee will hold a meeting on Friday, February 8, 2008. No agenda has been released at this time.
