Senate Bill 1894 relating to Surplus Lines Insurers is expected to be heard by the Senate on second reading tomorrow, April 24, 2009.
Meanwhile, two unfavorable amendments have been filed to the bill by Senator Jeremy Ring. To view these amendments, click here and here.
SB 1894 provides for the nonapplication of certain provisions of state law to surplus lines insurance authorized under Florida’s Surplus Lines Law.
