Three Amendments Added to SB 1880 Relating to No-Fault

Three new amendments were filed today on Senate Bill 1880 relating to Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault.
- One amendment provides that evidence of usual and customary charges my be considered with regard to reasonable charges.
- A second amendment changes the date of the repeal of the Florida Motor Vehicle No Fault statutes to October 1, 2008.
- The third amendment provides funding to the Department of Financial Services to enforce the Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault law in Miami, Orlando and Tampa.
We have attached the amendments for your review.
The House has not considered Senate Bill 1880 at this time and it is unclear whether they will before Session ends on May 4, 2007. We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.
