TEST: NAIC Issues Mandate Regarding Electronic Filing in the State of Massachusetts

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) has issued a mandate requiring all insurers doing business in the State of Massachusetts to submit rate and form filings electronically via SERFF as of January 1, 2009.

Insurers required to pay filing fees will be required to pay electronically via EFT as of January 1, 2009 as well.
