Former State Representative Tom Gallagher, now with Colodny Fass, was recognized by House Speaker Dean Cannon on the Floor of the Florida House of Representatives during the Eighth Biennial House Reunion yesterday, February 8, 2012. Mr. Gallagher, who joined Colodny Fass this year as an Insurance and Governmental Consultant, was first elected to the House in 1974 and spent six consecutive terms (13 years) in the Florida Legislature.
Best known as Florida’s two-term State Treasurer and Insurance Commissioner, Mr. Gallagher later became Florida’s first elected Chief Financial Officer. Prior to both those posts, he also served as Florida Education Commissioner and Secretary of the Department of Professional Regulation.
