Stock up now: FL tax holiday for hurricane supplies June 1-7

Hurricane season begins on June 1, and so does the 2018 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday.

From June 1 to 7, certain hurricane supplies are exempt from sales tax. The holiday does not apply to the rental or repair of any of the qualifying items. It does not apply to sales at a theme park, entertainment complex public lodging establishment or an airport.
