Republicans Dominate Florida 2010 U.S. Congressional Races

Republican winners have been declared in the following Florida 2010 U.S. Congressional races:

U.S. Senate

Former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio (R) defeats U.S. Representative Kendrick Meek (D) and Florida Governor Charlie Crist (I).

 

U.S. House of Representatives

District 2

Republican Steve Southerland defeats incumbent Democrat U.S. Representative Allan Boyd.

District 8

Former Republican State Senator Dan Webster defeats incumbent Democrat U.S. Representative Alan Grayson.

 
District 24

Republican State Representative Sandra Adams defeats incumbent Democrat U.S. Representative Suzanne Kosmas.

 

The following candidates appear to be leading their respective races for the U.S. House of Representatives:

District 12

Republican Former State Representative Dennis Ross defeats Democrat Lori Edwards.

District 22

Republican Allen West is leading incumbent Democrat U.S. Representative Ron Klein.

District 25

Republican State Representative David Rivera leads Democrat Joe Garcia.
