Joint Legislative Budget Conference

The Joint Budget Conference, scheduled for Monday, was canceled and will be rescheduled at a date and time to be determined when issues with budget legislation proposals are resolved.

 

Florida Senate Committee on Finance and Tax

The Florida Senate Committee on Finance and Tax met on Monday, April 20, and acted on the following insurance-related bills:

  • CS/SB 1894 relating to Insurance by the Senate Committee on Judiciary and State Senator Mike Bennett (R-Bradenton)
    • Update:  CS/CS/SB 1894 PASSED (3Y-2N) with a Committee amendment and will next proceed to the Senate Committee on General Government Appropriations.  To view the most recent bill analysis, click here.
  • SB 2282 relating to First Responder Services by State Senator Mike Bennett (R-Bradenton)
