PCI, NAIC Executives Join Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner, Others At Brookings Insurance Regulation Forum

On October 14, 2014, the Initiative on Business and Public Policy at Brookings Institution convened a forum focusing on insurance lessons learned during the recent financial crisis, and how regulatory reforms are changing the industry and its supervision.
Speakers included Property Casualty Insurers Association of America President and CEO David Sampson; National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) CEO Ben Nelson; NAIC Vice President and Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Michael F. Consedine; and experts from academia, regulatory bodies, insurance industry and consumer groups.
