The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has finalized two documents related to wind-loss mitigation likely to be submitted to the Florida Financial Services Commission for approval.
OIR-B1-1655 is an informational document on wind-loss mitigation and the resultant potential wind-loss policy discounts.
OIR-B1-1802 is the mitigation check-off form to be used by a qualified inspector in determining whether a home qualifies for the aforementioned discounts.
