OIR to Hold Web-Based Seminars on I-File and Rate Collection System Changes

Jun 16, 2007

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (“OIR”) is presently updating both its I-File and Rate Collection Systems with an effective date of July 2, 2007.  The OIR Industry Portal is a single point of entry to access the filing assembly and submission system, online rate collection systems, quarterly submission reports, and other related content.

To explain the system changes, the OIR will hold a series of Web-based seminars on June 21, 22, 25 and 26, 2007, as detailed below.

The OIR cautions that any current I-Filings filings in the system workbench that have not submitted by the July 2, 2007 effective date will be removed and will have to be recreated.  Therefore, the OIR requests that any filings be submitted by June 25, 2007 and that further filings be withheld until after July 2, 2007.

Should you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to contact this office.
