OIR Rule Hearing: Required Preinsurance Inspection of Private Passenger Motor Vehicles

On Thursday, March 20, 2008, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation scheduled a hearing on Proposed Rule 690-167.004 entitled “Required Preinsurance Inspection of Private Passenger Motor Vehicles.” 

The hearing was scheduled to provide an opportunity for public testimony regarding amendments to the Rule to reflect legislative changes and update the form.  However, because the hearing was not requested, it was not held.

For your review, we have included a copy of the Proposed Rule.
