OIR Issues Memorandum on PIP Sunset Transition

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation today issued an Informational Memorandum notifying insurers of their legal requirements in advance of the sunset of Florida’s no-fault/PIP laws on October 1, 2007.

A copy of the Memorandum is attached for your review.

Some insurers already have filed and obtained approval for transitional policy language. These filings can be found by clicking on www.fldfs.com/edms and using the keywords “PIP Sunset.”
