OIR Finalizes Rule Regarding Filing of Forms and Rates for Life/Health Insurance

On May 23, 2007, a second Public Hearing was held by the Office of Insurance Regulation (“OIR”) for Rule 690-149.002 regarding Filing of Forms and Rates for Life/Health Insurance.

The purpose of the Hearing was to make a technical change to a provision that was accidentally removed during the first public hearing.

Because no interested parties attended the hearing, the technical change was adopted by the OIR without discussion.

The finalized Proposed Rule next will be heard by the Financial Services Commission.
