OIR FAILS TO RESPOND TO FPCA QUESTIONS

On July 5, 2007, this office sent the Office of Insurance Regulation (“OIR”) a letter with questions from the Florida Property and Casualty Association regarding the impending sunset of Florida’s No-Fault Act.  Consistent with its treatment of questions from other individuals and organizations, the OIR forwarded a copy of an Informational Memorandum it issued on August 6, 2007, directed to insurance carriers writing motor vehicle insurance, in lieu of responding to our questions.
