Office of Insurance Regulation Proposed Rule Workshop On Long Term Care Rate Increase Standards

The Florida Financial Services Commission and Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) held a workshop and discussion forum today, May 2, 2007, for Proposed Rule 69O-157.301 relating to rate increase standards for long term care insurance. 

The meeting was called to order, and no person in attendance commented on the Proposed Rule.

The Workshop agenda and complete text of the Proposed Rule is attached.

We expect that the OIR will continue with the development of this Rule.  We will continue to monitor this matter and report as further proceedings occur.
