NCOIL Adopts Model State Resolution Opposing an OFC

The National Conference of Insurance Legislators (“NCOIL”) has issued the attached information regarding its recent unanimous adoption of a model Resolution in opposition to S. 40/H.R. 3200, the National Insurance Act of 2007.  The Resolution will assist states opposing an optional federal charter (“OFC”).  

A copy of the Resolution is attached for your review.

Lawmakers adopted the Resolution during the February 28 through March 1, 2008 NCOIL Spring Meeting in Washington, DC.
