NCCI Workers’ Compensation Rate Hearing
The Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation ("OIR"), has issued a Notice of Workshop Hearing regarding the workers’ compensation rate filing made by the National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc. ("NCCI").
In its filing, the NCCI requested an overall average decrease in workers’ compensation rate levels of 14.1 percent for all new and renewal policies written in the State of Florida’s voluntary market effective January 1, 2009.
