NAIC Public Hearing To Address Insurance Issues In Coastal Zones

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (“NAIC”) Southeastern Zone is hosting a public hearing to discuss insurance coverage issues in coastal zone regions around the country.
The hearing will be co-hosted by NAIC President and Alabama Insurance Commissioner Walter Bell and Florida Insurance Commissioner Kevin McCarty, who is chair of the NAIC’s Southeastern Zone.
Invitations to present public comments have been extended to state insurance regulators, state legislators and members of the U.S. Congress, as well as to insurers, reinsurers and rating agencies.
