NAIC Manual Adoption Rule Hearing Report: November 26

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation had scheduled a proposed Rule Hearing on November 26, 2008 regarding Rules related to insurer reporting requirements. However, because no requests were received for the hearing, one was not held.
The Rules to be amended are:
69O-137.001: Annual and Quarterly Reporting Requirements (Notice)
The purpose of the proposed amendments to Rule 69O-137.001 is to adopt the most recent version (2008) of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) manuals for annual and quarterly statements and accounting practices and procedures. The current Rule adopted the 2007 versions.
69O-138.001: NAIC Financial Condition Examiners Handbook Adopted (Notice)
The purposed of the proposed amendments to Rule 69O-138.001 is to adopt the 2008 NAIC Financial Condition Examiners Handbook, which is the latest version. The current Rule adopted the 2007 version.
