NAIC Casualty Actuarial and Statistical Task Force Adopts Actuarial Opinion Guidances

The National Association of Insurance Commissioner’s (“NAIC”) Casualty Actuarial and Statistical (C) Task Force has adopted its 2008 regulatory guidance on the Statement of Actuarial Opinion and the Actuarial Opinion Summary.
The documents have been sent to the American Academy of Actuaries for inclusion in its Practice Note on Statements of Actuarial Opinion on Property and Casualty Insurance Loss Reserves as of December 31, 2008.
