Louisiana Insurability of the Coast Forum Presentations

The presentations given at the “President’s Forum on Meeting Coastal Challenges–Insurability of the Coast” are now available on the Louisiana Sea Grant Web site. The event, which was held Monday, June 16, 2008, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was sponsored by the Louisiana Sea Grant, Louisiana Department of Insurance, America’s Wetland Foundation and the LSU AgCenter.
Forum topics included flood insurance, reinsurance, floodplain mapping, public and private insurance providers, and comprehensive planning relating to natural hazards.Â
