Here we go. I hope everyone who voted for a.inline_topic:hover Governor. Rick Scott is hit hard by this. I am hearing from others and it has happened to me also. Get ready for your renewals of insurance to hit the ceiling! I have heard from friends and neighbors about their homeowners insurance going up 200 percent to 300 percent. My boat insurance has gone up 200 percent?

How could anyone believe Scott’s claim that this will make prices go down by creating more competition? This comes from a man whose company was convicted of the biggest insurance fraud in the country. It’s like saying raising gas prices at the stations will bring those prices down by creating competition. Uh, where has that ever happened? This man is only setting the state up to enable insurance, corporations and the like to have open season for his buddies.

Deregulation, eliminating consumer protection, taking out nursing-home independent oversight, defunding schools, jails and children’s services so his buddies can take over with privatized services. Get ready to lose your home because your premiums will be more than your mortgage payments That’s no lie, it is happening now to people I know.

Bernie Madoff? This governor is setting up a system in this state for his friends that will be more criminal than even Madoff could think of. But I guess you trust him to do the right thing. Do you still?
