Legislative Leadership Releases Joint Letter Regarding Special Session

In preparation for today’s commencement of the Special Session on Property Tax Relief and Reform, Senate President Pruitt and House Speaker Marco Rubio released a joint letter to legislators reinforcing the sole focus of days ahead. 

Beginning today, June 12, 2007, “Special Session B” is scheduled to close on June 22, 2007.

The letter from leadership also indicated that substantive bills will not be filed until this morning, and that today’s House Policy and Budget Council and Senate Finance and Tax Committee meetings have been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 13, 2007, with no meeting time yet having been specified.
