Katherine Scott Webb Named Colodny Fass Shareholder

Colodny Fass announced today, February 16, 2012, that it has named Katherine Scott Webb as a Shareholder of the Firm.
Ms. Webb has been a Partner of Colodny Fass since 2009 and leads the Firm’s Tallahassee, Florida office.
“Katie’s regulatory and legislative successes have been recognized by our clients, and have served as the basis for the tremendous growth in our Tallahassee operation.” Managing Partner Mike Colodny said.
Ms. Webb joined Colodny Fass as an Associate in 2005 and was named a Partner in 2009. In her lobbying and regulatory work, she represents clients’ needs to the legislative and executive branches of government.
Last year she received the “Outstanding Lobbying Efforts” award from the Florida Insurance Council for her efforts in crafting and advocating complex legislative insurance issues.
Also in 2011, she was appointed as an Adjunct Professor by Florida State University College of Law.
Raised in Tallahassee, Ms. Webb received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 2000 from Florida State University, and obtained her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law in 2003. As a law student, she participated in a fellowship program for the Florida House of Representatives Insurance Committee, where she assisted House Members in legislative drafting and analysis.
Ms. Webb is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
