The Senate Health Regulation Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 3:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. in Room 401 of the Senate Office Building, The Capitol, Tallahassee, Florida.

Insurance-related bills scheduled to be discussed include SB 0752: Relating to False Claims/Personal Injury Protection Insurance by Senator Carey Baker.

The Florida Senate will hold Session on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

Insurance Regulatory-Related Meetings

 

Tuesday, April 1

The previously-scheduled April 1, 2008 Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (“FHCF”) Advisory Council meeting has been canceled.

Pursuant to March 26 Council approval, the proposed and amended Rules regarding the FHCF Reimbursement Premium Formula next will be considered for approval by the Florida Financial Services Commission on April 15, 2008 as part of the regularly scheduled Florida Cabinet meeting at 9 a.m. in The Capitol.

Thursday, April 3

The Florida Workers’ Compensation Joint Underwriting Association will hold a Reinsurance Committee Meeting on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. The call-in number is (800) 550.7368. There is no agenda available at this time.
