Insurance-Related Bills Presented To Governor Crist This Week

On Thursday, May 31, 2007, Florida Governor Charlie Crist was presented with 25 bills that passed during the 2007 Regular Legislative Session.Â
Senate Bill 830 by Senator Cary Baker (R-Eustis) relating to Public Records/Personal Information/Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Records was among the 25 bills, and will be effective July 1, 2007, unless it is vetoed by Governor Crist.
Also among the bills presented to Governor Crist was Senate Bill 1732 by Senator Dan Webster (R-Winter Garden) relating to Primary Care Access Network. This bill will be effective July 1, 2007, unless it is vetoed by the Governor.
Governor Crist has until June 15, 2007 to sign or veto these bills. If the Governor does not act by that date, the bills will become law automatically.
