Notice of Proposed Rule: Long-Term Care Reimbursement Plan Payment Methodology
The Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, Medicaid Division, has issued a Notice of Proposed Rule regarding Rule:
- 59G-6.010: Payment Methodology for Nursing Home Services
The purpose of the proposed Rule is to incorporate changes to the Florida Long-Term Care Reimbursement Plan payment methodology, effective July 1, 2008.
If requested by Friday, November 14, a hearing will be held at the date, time and place below. If not requested, this hearing will not be held:

Notice of Proposed Rule: Long-Term Care Rate Increase Framework
The Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation, has issued a Notice of Proposed Rule regarding Rules:
- 69O-157.302: Facility-Only Rates
- 69O-157.303: Home Health Care-Only Rates
- 69O-157.304: Comprehensive-Only Rates
The purpose of the proposed Rules is to establish a framework for evaluating rate increases for long-term care insurance, and to ensure that the rate increases are not excessive.
If requested by Friday, November 14, a hearing will be held at the date, time and place below. If not requested, this hearing will not be held:

- 69O-137.001: Annual and Quarterly Reporting Requirements
This Rule is being amended to adopt the 2008 National Association of Insurance Commissioners (“NAIC”) manuals for annual and quarterly statements, and the 2008 NAIC accounting practices and procedures manual. The 2008 version is the latest version of these manuals. The current Rule adopted the 2007 version.
If requested by Friday, November 14, a hearing will be held at the date, time and place below. If not requested, this hearing will not be held:

This Rule is being amended to adopt the 2008 NAIC Financial Condition Examiners Handbook. The 2008 version is the latest version of this manual. The current Rule adopted the 2007 version.
