Pursuant to subsection 627.211(6), Florida Statutes, the Office of
Insurance Regulation (Office) has conducted an analysis on the availability and affordability of workers’ compensation coverage and whether the current market structure, conduct and performance are conducive to competition, based on economic analysis and tests.
The report also documents that the Office has complied with the provisions of section 627.096, F.S., which requires the Office to investigate and study the data, statistics, schedules and other information as it finds necessary to assist in its review of workers’ compensation rate filings.
