Help FADRA in Tallahassee

Florida Auto Dismantlers & Recyclers Association (FADRA) would like to request permission to use your name to respond to any legislation that could harm or enhance the salvage industry. Last year FADRA had a Grassroots Alliance that was very beneficial for our cause and would like to be able to act at a moments notice to any issue that arises. Last year, we were able to defeat legislation that would have caused serious consequences to our industry dealing with Used Tires and Total Loss Vehicles.

At this time in the session, the Salvage Auctions have SB754 and HB7063 Bills to remove the requirement of the Certificate of Destruction brand on a title. This action will limit the available salvage vehicles for our industry and allow more foreign purchasing of salvage vehicles with the Rebuildable brand. This would reduce the available pool of vehicles to purchase for parts.
