Governor Vetoes Medicare Supplement Policy Exemption Bill

House Bill 97 Relating to Medicare Supplement Policies by Representative Alan Hayes (R-Umatilla) was vetoed by Governor Crist.
The bill would exempt from the Medicare supplement policy those employers of 50 or more eligible employees, if upon termination of eligibility, group members age 65 or older are offered continuation of coverage with the same benefits.
