Governor Signs Budget; All DJJ Items Intact

Governor Charlie Crist signed Florida’s $66 billion 2008-2009 budget on June 11, 2008.Â
Three budget items were vetoed:
1. $300,000 for the Harris Chain of Lakes Restoration
2. $840,000 for Exponica International
3. $250 million that would have been taken from Citizens’ Property Insurance Corporation’s budget to fund a second year of State’s Insurance Capital Build-Up Incentive Program
No Department of Juvenile Justice items were vetoed.
