Governor Lauds Select Committee on Property Insurance Accountability at Press Conference

At this morning’s press conference on the naming of Walter McNeil as Secretary of the Florida Department of Corrections this morning, a question regarding today’s Allstate rate hearings was posed to Governor Crist. 

The Governor stated in response that ” . . . we are close to finding the truth (about what insurance companies are doing) . . . ” and said that he applauds the Florida Senate effort in forming the Select Committee on Property Insurance Accountability.
