Governor Crist Releases Budget Recommendations

On Thursday, September 6, 2007, Governor Charlie Crist released his budget recommendations to the Florida House of Representatives and Senate. Despite receiving these recommendations, the Legislature announced that it plans to postpone the Special Session that was scheduled to commence on September 18, 2007.

Currently, there is an estimated $1.5 billion shortfall in the state budget. We have included a copy of the Governor’s recommendations for your review.
