FSIGA BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING RECAP

On August 14, 2007, the Florida Self-Insurers Guaranty Association’s (“FSIGA”) Board of Directors (“Board”) met in Orlando, Florida. 

The Board reviewed FSIGA’s second quarter investment performance and second quarter financial statements.  No Board action was taken on either item.

The Board approved FSIGA’s:

• Claims servicing contract between itself and Commercial Risk Management, Inc.;
• Audit engagement letter;
• Retirement plan engagement letter; and
• Actuarial engagement letter.

Eric Lloyd, from the Division of Workers’ Compensation, gave a presentation on the Special Disability Trust Fund.  No Board action was taken.

The Board concurred in the Chairman’s committee appointments and an update on Comcar was provided.
