FPCA UPDATE: SCHIP Teleconference on Group Health Plans Scheduled for October 1

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMMS”) has announced a public forum entitled “Open Door Forum Teleconference for Mandatory Reporting for Group Health Plan Arrangements as well as Liability Insurance (Including Self-Insurance), No-Fault Insurance, and Workers’ Compensation” on information about Section 111 of the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007 (“SCHIP”), specifically related to Group Health Plans.
The forum is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. via teleconference. The call-in number is: 888.606.7037; conference code: MMSEA111.
