Florida Property and Casualty Association Homeowners Division Members:
As discussed on the previous FPCA Homeowner’s Conference Call, our Office set a meeting with Representative Bryan Nelson (Chairman of the Insurance and Banking Subcommittee). The meeting is set for Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. in Tallahassee. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund and the Citizens Clearinghouse proposal. We are also in the process of setting up meetings that day with Steve Burgess (Staff Director of the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee) and Senator David Simmons (Chairman of the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee).
