At your earliest convenience, please review the proposal and send your comments to Katie Webb (kwebb@cftlaw.com) at Colodny Fass.
A copy of the draft bill is attached for review.
About the Institute for Legal Reform
Founded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 1998 to address the proliferation of litigation, the Institute for Legal Reform advocates for the following goals:
- To neutralize plaintiff trial lawyers’ excessive influence over the legal and political systems
- To create and maintain public support for legal reform, including building alliances with groups and organizations to advance the legal reform agenda
- To enact common sense reforms to ensure fairness in liability suits
- To ensure damage awards are fair and equitable, eliminate frivolous lawsuits, and enforce legal ethics rules
