FPCA Homeowners Division – Sinkhole Data Aggregation

FPCA Homeowners Division Members:

As you are aware, Florida Senate Staff is preparing a report to address sinkhole issues in Florida.  The Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) has issued a data call to collect data for this report.  Separately, the FPCA Homeowners Division Members have agreed to have Dixon Hughes collect and aggregate certain sinkhole data from Members.

Attached are several forms containing data fields for sinkhole data.  Also attached are instructions for completing the forms.  In order for Dixon Hughes to be able to properly aggregate Member data, it is critical that Members complete the forms in accordance with the instructions.  Dixon Hughes must receive the same type of data from each carrier.

Please complete the attached forms and submit the completed forms directly to Larry Perdue at Dixon Hughes (lperdue@dixon-hughes.com) and include the words “Sinkhole Data” in the subject line of the email.  Completed forms should be submitted to Dixon Hughes no later than Friday, September 10, 2010.
