FPCA Homeowners Division Members: Review and Comments Requested on Letter to DFS Regarding the Proposed Public Adjuster Rules

FPCA Homeowners Division Members:
The Florida Department of Financial Services (“DFS”) held a Rule Workshop on March 22, 2012, on proposed Rules 69B-220.051 and 69B-220.201, Florida Administrative Code, relating to public adjusters and public adjuster apprentices. The record for the Workshop is open until tomorrow, March 30, for additional written comments. A letter has been drafted based upon the comments provided by the Members thus far.
Attached are both a copy of the proposed rules and the draft letter to DFS. Please review the draft letter to DFS and provide any comments you may have to Katie Webb (kwebb@cftlaw.com) by 10 a.m. tomorrow, March 30.
