FPCA Homeowners Division Members:
As discussed at the meeting on Friday, February 10, 2012, a strike all amendment to SB 1372 (Dr. Nicholson’s Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Bill) has been drafted. The draft amendment removes the provisions in SB 1372 that increase retention and co-payments; leaves intact reduction in overall limits; and caps the premium cash build up factor at 30.
Attached are both clean and redline versions of the proposed strike all amendment. Please review the strike all and provide any comments you may have to Katie Webb (kwebb@cftlaw.com) by 6 p.m. tomorrow, February 15.
