Florida Property and Casualty Association Homeowners Division:
SB 408, a property insurance bill similar to legislation vetoed by former Florida Governor Charlie Crist last year, was filed in the Florida Senate today, January 12, 2011, by Senator Garrett Richter, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking and Insurance. Measures in SB 408 contain a strong emphasis on reducing sinkhole claims.
