FPCA Homeowners Division: Comments Requested on Proposed Amendments to HB 803

FPCA Homeowners Division Members:
Attached are 5 proposed amendments to the House property bill, HB 803, which is the companion bill to SB 408. The first 3 amendments conform the bill to be consistent with SB 408. The 4th and 5th amendments are identified as conforming/technical changes. Specifically, the 4th amendment restores some language that was inadvertently stricken, and the 5th amendment strikes language that was inadvertently left in (referring to 100 days nonrenewal rather than 90 days nonrenewal). Representative Wood, the bill’s sponsor, is entertaining proposed amendments for when HB 803 is heard in a couple of weeks.
