Florida Venture Forum seeks presenters

The Florida Venture Forum is looking for early stage private Florida companies in all industries to apply to present at the 2010 Florida Venture Forum Early Stage Capital Conference.

Scheduled for Sept.15 at the Omni Orlando Resort in ChampionsGate, the event showcases about 10-12 early stage, high-growth private companies before an audience that includes venture capitalists, angel investors, private equity investors and investment bankers from around the country.

Florida Venture Forum, based in Tampa, helps emerging companies raise capital and develop their businesses.

Companies should have proprietary technology and high growth potential.

The early deadline is July 30, and the final deadline is Aug. 31.

A selection committee of venture capitalists and private equity investors will review the submissions.

Selected presenters also receive guidance on business plan writing,

public speaking and venture capital negotiations.

Sponsorships from $2,500 to $7,500 also are available.
