The staff of FSLSO announced early in November 2013 that the Florida Surplus Lines Study Manual is now available as an ebook!
The Florida Surplus Lines Study Manual serves as Florida’s official study guide for the Florida surplus lines licensing exam. It provides a comprehensive overview of the surplus lines industry and is a resource guide for anyone wanting information about surplus lines insurance. In keeping with the mission of the Service Office to facilitate agent compliance, the Study Manual is now available to students electronically.
“The Study Manual has been one of the most successful products offered by the Service Office. Hundreds of students have successfully passed the surplus lines licensing exam using our Study Manual,” said Tom Terfinko, Assistant Director of Agent and Insurer Services. “We are excited to offer this material in a way that uses current advancements in technology and provide students with multiple ways to study and be successful in the licensing process.”
