Florida Supreme Court Decision re Jones v. Martin Electronics 7/24/06

Attached you will find a recent Florida Supreme Court decision that makes certain clarifications to existing case law regarding the election of remedies doctrine and the workers compensation statute. The decision in the case, Jones v. Martin Electronics, states that in certain circumstances a plaintiff may have a pending workers compensation case as well as a case in tort resulting from the same injury.
