Florida State Board of Administration Bill Goes to Governor for Action

May 3, 2011

CS/SB 1182 relating to the State Board of Administration by Senator Jeremy Ring was considered by the Florida Senate earlier today, May 3, 2011.

Senator Ring offered an amendment to conform the bill to the House companion, HB 7155, which amendment was adopted.

Upon notice that the Senate had received HB 7155, the bill was withdrawn from its committees of reference and substituted for SB 1182.

Without further discussion, the Senate then passed the bill by a vote of 38 to 0.

CS/SB 1182 will now be sent to Florida Governor Rick Scott for action.
